โจ To meditate on today
According to the Gospel of Buddha, this short stanza sums up the whole teaching: everything arises from causes, and when we understand these causes, passion can finally subside. Today, when irritation or craving rises, calmly look for what gave birth to it (tiredness, fear, habit): seeing it clearly is often enough to soften it.
