Lesson 363
Lesson 363

This holy instant would I give to You. Be You in charge. For I would follow You, Certain that Your direction gives me peace.

I would like to offer this holy instant to You. Let it be You who directs. For I would like to follow You, certain that Your direction gives me peace.

If I need a word to help me He will give it to me. If I need a thought, that will He also give. And if I need but stillness and a tranquil, open mind, these are the gifts I will receive of Him. He is in charge by my request. And He will hear and answer me, because He speaks for God my Father and His holy Son.

✨ Summary & practice

Give this holy instant to God; this is the secret of peace.

This holy instant, give it to God. Let Him take the lead. For it is by following Him that you will find certain peace. God knows your needs before you even express them. If a word is needed, it will be placed upon your lips. If a thought is missing, it will arise in your mind. If silence is what you need, a deep peace will envelop you. He is in charge because you have entrusted Him with the reins. And He never fails His promise.

The central idea is that surrender to God is not weakness but the greatest strength. The ego believes that keeping control is safety. The truth is that giving control to God is the only real safety. For only He sees the whole, only He knows the way. By giving Him each instant, you free yourself from the burden of having to know and control everything. You become open to receive the perfect guidance you need.

This third repetition of the same theme deepens your grounding in trust. Previous lessons have shown you that fear binds and forgiveness frees. Here, the repeated practice of surrender dissolves the last resistances of the ego. You learn that surrender is not a loss of autonomy but a gain of freedom. By following God, you become more truly yourself, not less. Your true will aligns with His.

To live this lesson, imagine you are holding the steering wheel of your life. Today, at every instant, extend that wheel to God. Say: « You are the one driving. I am simply the passenger, trusting and at peace. » Observe how things unfold when you are not in control. Coincidences multiply, doors open, solutions appear. You will see that the journey is smoother when you stop trying to control everything. The peace you sought through effort is found in surrender.
