In me, God's holy Son, are reconciled all parts of Heaven's plan to save the world. What could conflict, when all the parts have but one purpose and one aim? How could there be a single part that stands aside, or one of more or less importance than the rest? I am the means by which God's Son is saved, because salvation's purpose is to find the sinlessness which God has placed in me. I was created as the thing I seek. I am the goal the world is searching for. I am God's Son, His one Eternal Love. I am salvation's means and end as well.
Let me today, my Father, take the role You offer me in Your request that I accept Atonement for myself. For thus does what is thereby reconciled in me become as surely reconciled to You.
In you, salvation’s means and end are one.
You are the holy Son of God, and in you all parts of Heaven’s plan to save the world are reconciled. What conflict could there be when all parts share one single purpose and one single end? You are the means by which the Son of God is saved, because the goal of salvation is to find the spotlessness God placed within you. You were created as the very thing you seek. You are both the means and the end of salvation.
The deep teaching of this lesson is that you lack nothing for your salvation. You do not need to seek outside for tools, methods, or teachers. Everything is already within you. You are both the seeker and the found, the path and the destination, the means and the end. This fullness is your true nature. The Son of God is complete in himself, for he was created perfect by a perfect Father. By accepting this, you end all external seeking. You do not become salvation, you recognize that you already are.
This lesson is the culmination of all the work on identity. You came for the salvation of the world; you are the Will of God in action. Here, you realize that not only do you participate in salvation, you are salvation. The means (forgiveness, Christ’s vision, miracles) and the end (God’s peace) are united in you. There is no separation between what you do and what you are. Every act of forgiveness is both means and end. Holy Son of God, His only eternal Love, you are complete.
To live this lesson, become aware that everything you need is already within you. When you seek answers outside, bring your attention back inside. Tell yourself: « I am the means and the end. What I seek, I already am. » This is not pride, it is the humble recognition of your true identity. As you act today, know that every loving act you make is both the path and the goal.
