I can obscure my holy sight, if I intrude my world upon it. Nor can I behold the holy sights Christ looks upon unless it is His vision that I use. Perception is a mirror, not a fact. And what I look on is my state of mind reflected outward. I would bless the world by looking on it through the eyes of Christ. And I will look upon the certain signs that all my sins have been forgiven me.
You lead me from the darkness to the light;from sin to holiness. Let me forgive, and thus receive salvation for the world. It is Your gift, my Father, given me to offer to Your holy Son, that he may find again the memory of You, and of Your Son as You created him.

You can obscure your holy vision if you impose your world upon Christ’s sight. This is a choice you make each instant. But if you choose to look through Christ’s eyes, you will see a blessed world, filled with clear signs of forgiveness.
The fundamental idea is that you never see the world as it is, but as you are. The world is a screen upon which your mind projects its contents. If you wish to see a world of peace, be at peace within. The vision of Christ is not a faculty you must acquire; it is already in you, but it can be clouded by the mists of your judgments. Today, you are invited to clear these clouds by consciously choosing to see with the eyes of forgiveness.
This lesson builds on all the wisdom of previous lessons about perception and judgment. You have learned that judgment is a weapon against truth; here, you discover it also obscures your vision. The world you see is directly linked to what you believe yourself to be. If you believe yourself guilty, you will see a guilty world. If you know yourself innocent, you will see an innocent world. Forgiveness is the means of moving from guilt to innocence, and thus from blindness to vision.
In practice today, be mindful of what you look at. When you see something you dislike in someone, ask yourself: 'Do I want to see this with Christ’s eyes or with those of my ego?' Then choose Christ’s vision. Bless the world by looking at it with love. You will then see clear signs that all your sins have been forgiven. This is the gift the Father gives you: He leads you from darkness to light, from sin to holiness. Accept this gift today.
