Tukaram, Poem 3631

The son has turned out a thief; his parents
rejoice. Now why should they toil to earn
anything? He is smelting gold and making ingots
of gold. He brings home his unearned gains, and
enriches the house. Both of them feel at ease—
because they are on the way to hell! He is born of
a shameless pair; the fruit and seed are both
accursed.
