Tukaram, Poem 3609

A cur may bark at the heels of an elephant; but he is soon chastised, and suffers for it. What can a fly like him do to such a creature? Yet he worries him, because it is his nature to do so. A full-fed ram may mock at a lion; but this is merely a challenge to death. Tuka says, Vile men may harass the saints, but they only blacken their own faces.
