Tukaram, Poem 3568

He runs after the drudgery of worldly life; how he loves it!
When he goes out to ease himself, he picks up stones; he thinks over his worldly projects.
All that he is ashamed of is Narayana’s name; he is willing to talk nonsense to children.
Tuka says, O shameless wretch, you make a boast of your toils and cares.
