Tukaram, Poem 3409

By churning, we bring forth for use the essence of milk;
but even those who get the buttermilk are glad of it.
Sweet is the fruit of toil; experience teaches men how delightful it is.
Cooking and well-flavoured food—how can we expect to find these everywhere?
Tuka serves out such food to the row of saints; he loves to associate with them.
