Tukaram, Poem 3402

We feel disposed to eat what we have been used
to eating; we meet with loving joy a friend
whom once we met. We never weary of Pandu-
ranga; our longing for him grows upon us. The
desire of our senses to behold him may be satisfied
and stilled; but the mind continues for ever to
meditate on him. Tuka says, We fill our stomachs,
but we are hungry still.
