Tukaram, Poem 3253

Why need we take this case before the court? It was settled when it began. The deed of gift is in my hands, bearing the signatures of many saints. I stayed by myself away from you, uttering the words “mine, mine”; but at last the quarrel has been mended; there need be no more grumbling now. The treasure that was set apart has been put into my hands; you, O God, have no control over it now. Tuka says, All wrangling would be wasted now; I have taken possession of my own share.
