Tukaram, Poem 3218

Means of salvation require excessive toil;
let me only sing to Thee with heartfelt
faith; I shall gain everything while I am seated
there. The slave of God can perform acts of
ritual or charity; His body and mind are motionless.
Tuka says, When a man is one with the Supreme,
all stirrings of the mind cease.
