Tukaram, Poem 3183

THROUGH the attractive power of life, the
mind is filled with hopes; a love of names
and forms grows up within it. Have we no
treasure prepared for us at Thy feet? Why are my
words so falsified? Tuka says, Pass over all my
qualities; vindicate thine own name.
