Tukaram, Poem 3112

Where are you detained by the meditations of yogis or the joyous preachings of Pandhari? What occupation engages you, that you cannot hear my complaints? Are You blissfully asleep on your serpent-bed? How is it you refuse the pleasure of listening to your worshippers? Tell me where you are detained, says Tuka.
A mortal man, a food-eating worm, if you call yourself His servant, will not neglect You; He will not depart from His word. But You are the Lord of men, the Source of the sun and moon; You are the Feeder of the universe; You are extolled by the lord of snakes, says Tuka.
