Tukaram, Poem 3045

Be without form to those who would have Thee such; we love to see Thee in thy own true form. Can a baby be treated like a boy that has grown to knowledge? Can he be kept at a distance? When men are eagerly bent on salvation, Thou keepest circling round them elusively; when they are mad after knowledge, thou tantalizest them. Tuka says, Where canst Thou find a chance to banish from Thee my devotion?
