Tukaram, Poem 3040

Men set up drinking-places in compassion for
the poor; why dost not thou, O Panduranga,
likewise build a boat for us? Men give medicine
to the sick, and ease their pain; they leap into the
water to save the drowning; they clear thorns off
the road for those that follow them; they bear the
burdens of the weary, says Tuka.
