Tukaram, Poem 3037

I perceive Thou hast forgotten me; why
should I live longer? What canst Thou do with
the store of my past? My life is now a curse to
me. I heard Thy name, Thy established fame, as
Saviour of the Sinful, therefore I hoped on; now I
have found Thee pitiless. I have lost all hope, says
Tuka; for Thy sake I shall destroy myself.
