Tukaram, Poem 3028

Why do sins cross my path, though I have
offered Thee my sense of self? O Panduranga,
gracious and merciful, Thou wilt have power
to control all this! Why should any others have
power to control us, as long as we are near thee?
Tuka says, I have told my tale at Thy feet; bestow
on me a gift that is fit for me; Thou hast the
power.
