Let there dwell in my mind love and the assurance, that in sleeping, waking, and dreaming I am one with Vitthala. I ask for nothing else, neither royal power nor wealth. Bestow Thy love upon me so that I may see Thee everywhere; let the experience of my mind never be shut up within itself. Cut down at the root the evil done by us in birth and death. My body undergoes a change at the sight of Thee; it is crammed with the principle of all life; individuality is crushed, I am saved by meditating on Thee. Possessing this faith, says Tuka, we find Thy name sufficient for us. Birth after birth is welcome to overtake us, whatever station it place us in.
