Tukaram, Poem 2984

Men will never know how to drink a sweet juice like this of Narayana. It heals the disease of life, so that the pain thereof comes back no more. No struggle is needed; the disease simply cannot dwell within your frame. A change very swiftly passes over us; we are absorbed into God. The pain of birth and death ebbs away; the snare of the world is rent open. Tuka says, This draught has shown its power in many cases.
