Tukaram, Poem 2935

She is a boat for the weary, a shade for the worn,
she feeds the hungry with the milk of her love.
She casts a kindly glance on all; eagerly she waits
for them to embrace her. Tuka says, How can
there be left us any longer the weariness of pain of
unnumbered lives?
