Tukaram, Poem 2854

Give me the power to serve Thee, O God, then
will I not serve the world. This is the chief
duty of man; know this, ye that are capable of
knowledge: Know that God exists within your
minds, in a form corresponding to your faith.
Tuka says, We grow mad after that to which we
apply ourselves in fond desire.
