Tukaram, Poem 2828

A pillar of wisdom he made himself, hence his name is Vitthoba. How is it you know not his name? Is it not known to the Veda? The serpent set forth his praise, but his tongue was riven and he became nothing but a bed for him to lie on. Tuka says, His authority prevails over the head of Time.
