Tukaram, Poem 2771

He will not let me sleep in the morning, and at night he keeps on twittering like a sparrow. This wretch is ever at my back, turning my life into torment. He brings with him a crowd of people, and sits at his ease in the temple. So here I am come to my own house, says Tuka, to fall into the horrors of my wife’s mouth.
