Tukaram, Poem 2621

We should pay reverence to sages and
Brahmanas; we should not accept it ourselves.
Though a man be a king, yet he must
serve the world; attendance on mankind is enjoined on him. Tuka says, They are strong in
the power of blessing others; he who troubles
them goes to hell.
