Tukaram, Poem 2601

The bee has no fear of being imprisoned in the
wood, though the flower entices it. Love
is fast bound by love; it cannot escape by any
device. A child twists the end of his father’s
dress; he makes himself powerless to please the
child. Tuki says, God is bound to assume a form
lest faith perish.
