Tukaram, Poem 2577

Pleasures bring death in their train; ill-starred are they who know not how to flee from them. They maim the Scriptures and throw stones at their own faces. They know nothing of liberation; how can any one teach an ass? TukS says, He counts himself a fool of learning; let destruction come slowly upon him, O God.
