Tukaram, Poem 2491

A frog dwelling in a pool scorns the ocean; he has not seen it and knows it not; he goes on croaking and boasting. A crow is puffed up and cries “I am more glorious than a king-goose.” An ass boasts that he is better than an elephant. A gilt coin, says Tuka, is not gold.
