Tukaram, Poem 2433

By this means the efforts of the past will be crowned with success, the body will be straightened as it were by a plumb-line. Guests are satisfied when they are made comfortable; mere courtesies are valued less than this. If you cannot dispense with a man you must show him special respect; if you show but what is customary you will get very little out of him. Tuka says, You will pay off your debts in no time, if you get hold of this unattainable resource.
