Tukaram, Poem 2357

When the heart is steeped in this colour it will not change; what has penetrated it changes not. Pure purple is the name of Krishna; how beautiful it shows stamped on our bodies! What is sanctified permits no pollution to cling to it, no dirt to linger in corners. Tuka says, Time has blackened his face, at the sight of the lustre of their bodies.
