Tukaram, Poem 2328

There is no pleasure in entering the world:
be not filled with foolish greed. This
world is a prison of sorrow; it has no means of
contriving happiness. There was one who had a
life of fourteen ages, yet he took shelter under a
bundle of straw. Grasp Hari to your bosom, says
Tuka, and rush from the world.
