Tukaram, Poem 2314

This is true devotion and well pleasing to God,
that we should look on the world as illusive.
You should live in the station in which God has
placed you, and let your mind be at peace. Every
impulse after change is a source of pain, for we
shall have to suffer what our merit brings upon us.
Tuka says, Let us cast our burden upon Him, let us
lay down the world at the feet of God.
