Tukaram, Poem 2278

Unless a man belongs to this one caste, the
members of it feel no love for him; O cow-
herd, the string of love draws them one to another.
If I forget thee for a moment, my soul is agonized;
this feeling is the same in either breast. This
experience is stored up in my heart, says Tuka;
thus all doubt about it is past.
