Tukaram, Poem 2255

The servants of Vishnu will brandish our
quarter-staves, we will not let guilt or
merit touch us. A determined purpose dwells
within us, we have placed all our burden upon
God, He who ordered the world is all powerful ;
we who depend on Him share his power. Tuka
says, We can perceive nothing besides God.
