Tukaram, Poem 2177

A dinner furnished by ourselves is available
at the right time; it is enjoyed with a keen
relish. With the secret in hand all weariness
vanishes; all things become one; we attain the
comforting presence of the Dweller in the heart.
Our merits and demerits are tied up in a bag;
our possessions are measured, their sum is fixed.
I am now become a great man, says Tuka; what-
ever I do will be done by my own authority.
