Tukaram, Poem 2139

Give me my share after full reflection; I shall not quit this pursuit till I have gained my object. I know not how long you will bear the trouble I give you; I am pointed out as a wicked man. You carry a quarrel so far as to kill men; this, O God, is the worst of your faults! Tuka says, It is only my patience that rewards me; you, O Vitthala, are far from this vain world.
