Tukaram, Poem 2121

I am not such a clown or such an idle fellow
that you can get the best of me. The saints
have taught me the secret of wrangling with you.
We are robber leaders; we have seized the road.
Tuka says, O God, I will serve Thee well by quarrel-
ling with Thee.
