Tukaram, Poem 2067

Some time or other one man is made like another; what is impossible to a mighty one? I have laid a foundation whereon to base a vassal’s claim; without doubt, I shall conquer my lord. I will not forsake the cause I have espoused; I will remove the barriers of lust and rage. Tuka says, I will burn up the pest of indolence; I knew not up till now what I stood to gain.
