Tukaram, Poem 2008

I lay a wager with thee, I am now thy opponent. How wilt thou escape me now? I have utterly dispersed the world, I have renounced it with pouring forth of water. I have packed up everything and set it on thy back; forget now such matters as I am I and “I am he.” Tuka says, I cling to thy feet; let it chance, if it will, that I am yet to be severed from them.
