Tukaram, Poem 1999

O glorious Lord of Pandhari, I lay a prayer at Thy feet. Thou art a helper of the unprotected, such is Thy title among the living and the lifeless. Thou knowest untold the secret of the heart, Thy shame will fall upon Thyself. Tuka says, Thou goest sporting through both worlds; give me such courage as no man possesses.
