Tukaram, Poem 1977

I will take the end of your robe and pull it; what will people think then? Consider while there is time, O Narayana, what secret primal bond unites us. I speak thus while I stand aloof from Thy feet; but when I embrace them I will not let Thee stir. If thou art angered, we will soon be reconciled; I will forthwith give up my purpose. Ere yet I have found thee there is good reason for my purpose; so I will strengthen my resolution. Tuka says, It is known what thou art, so I am set free from all troubles.
