Tukaram, Poem 1967

O thieves go seeking servants and offer them pay; but we insist on serving you and take no wages. Though you are far from us, we shall serve you well. We shall not comfort our own bodies, that we may comfort you, O Generous One! We shall toil to spread your fame; why are you heedless, O Panduranga?
