Tukaram, Poem 1923

We visit you again and again, but you never
stand up to trade with us. These are
blustering tricks; no one knows what is really in
you. Like one who has swallowed muga grain, you
sit as silent as a heron. How many suppliants,
says Tuka, have you ruined?
