Whatever is my portion, I see, I cannot bring it to a close, so I have taken shelter in Thee. Save me or destroy me; do whatever Thou wilt. Be a problem or riddle for Thee to solve; when thou hast dealt with it, I shall be happy. The shrutis are overwhelmed with merits and demerits; the shastras cannot reach the goal. The source of Omkar is pervaded by illusion; no faith can repose there. Hence I have laid down this load, I have taken hold of Thy name.
