Tukaram, Poem 1769

Who shall slay the man whom God protects?
Thorns cannot pierce him wandering in the wood; fire cannot burn nor water drown him; poison will be nectar to him; mark this. He shall not miss the way nor fall by any plot of men; Yama shall never possess him. Tuka says, Narayana will save him from bullets and arrows.
