Tukaram, Poem 1744

The Puranas is the goal;
the glory of His name as a saviour. It burns
up the huge guilt of the past; it preserves you from
re-entering the womb. He whom the shastras
censure, he is fitted for reverence by uttering this
name. Tuka says, Such is the print of his name
on the three worlds.
