Tukaram, Poem 1731

Utter this name, which will save you from
the cycle of re-birth. Wasted is labour on
wife, son and wealth; where the seed is sorrow,
the fruit is sorrow. Make a stout boat of the
thousand names; it will reach the further shore of
the ocean of the world. Tuka says, Smite the
world in the face, fill your quiver with arrows of
Hari’s name.
