Tukaram, Poem 1702

Who it is that is born, who brings about man’s birth; who it is that asks, who it is that gives; who it is that passes through experience, who it is that imposes it; what is form, what is existence without form; we cannot fathom these mysteries of Thine. Everywhere Thou art everything; there is none besides Thee, says Tuka.
