Tukaram, Poem 1606

I have found myself what the dust on their
feet is like; I took delight in licking it up. I
have known no sorrow since I did so. Tuka says,
I have mingled my uttermost faith with the basil
leaves fallen from their persons, with the holy
water from their feet.
