Tukaram, Poem 1573 i

To share between us—
Sages and gods will welcome us. They
will honour us with seats in their jewelled car; the
Gandharvas will sing and proclaim our names;
saints and sages and adepts will come forward to
receive us; our desire for every bliss will be
fulfilled. We shall embrace them and roll at their
feet; we shall go to our father and mother. How
can I paint, says Tuka, the joy I shall feel when I
see my father and mother?
