Tukaram, Poem 1526

Long I left my mother’s house unvisited, my vocations kept me away from it. I was entangled in activities of my own; this is how I forgot it. Separation begets separation, union union, it is all our own doing. Many answers were sent to my messages, and this one also is very near. Yet what do I know? Perchance his love has faded; it has long been interrupted, says Tuka.
